Angus Talk

Some things this kid says:

When going number 2 on the potty Angus always says through a red faced grin, as he leans halfway over, "that poop feels me better!" Meaning that when he goes poop it makes him feel better. Such truth for all of us Angus. Such truth.

Often when sitting on the potty Angus will lean over to the walls on either side of him, and kiss them. Then he will look at me and proclaim, "I kiss wall!" His cute and cheesy laugh immediately follow.

When he sneezes he usually says "bless you me!" afterwards.

When he wants to be held he will stand at my feet and say "mommy holdo me?" Then he screams if it doesn't happen. Much like me as a child, or so I am told.

Angus can make the "S" sound, but not if it comes at the beginning of a word. When placed there, the S makes the sound like a W or a Y. Shirt is pronounced "wirt" or "yirt." "Socks are "wocks" or "yocks," and silly is "willy" or "yilly." Sometimes F follows suit. Instead of funny you have "wunny."

He often comments on other people's shirts. If he sees someone wearing a shirt that he likes he will say to them either, " I wike your yirt," or "I want that yirt."

When someone leaves the room, or goes away for a while, Angus will inevitably get a frown on his face and say, "I miss Dad," or whoever it was that left. Sometimes even when we are all still in the same room he will get a frown on his face, then look at us and say, "I miss you guys."

That is gum stretched across his nose. Oscar saw Angus like this and said he had to take a picture of Angus "because the gum makes him look like a rooster." So he grabbed the camera and took a shot.



It is never dull with my boys around!
