Today

Today was windy, almost as windy as yesterday. I spent the day with my boys like I usually do. I hope they know, and never forget, that I love them just the way they are.That they are terrific people, and that I feel so so lucky to be the one to spend the most time with them.

Favorite moments from today are:

Sitting in the front room on the old blue couch holding Ulysses. He chewed happily (two teeth are peeking through!) on a rubber spatula, and we both enjoyed looking though the picture window and watching the fierce wind blow the tree branches and new blossoms around.

Another day of "track" running with Oscar and Angus. The past couple days we have been enjoying running lap after lap after lap around our klinker brick home. Seriously lots of laps, and these boys are getting fast! We even get stickers for good effort and completion of each race, today (thanks to Dad's improvement of the course) we even had obstacles to make it trickier. Then we wrestled in the yard until I cried uncle.

A damp and sweaty hug  from my bike riding Bryan as he got home from work just as the boys were going to bed.
