Dirty Puddle People

Tonight we all threw our rain boots on and splashed through the dirty puddle at the end of our driveway. The boys stripped down to there undies, I did not. We all got so dirty, well they got dirtier than I did. At one point they were both completely laying down in the black puddle. They were laughing really loud, hard and silly-like. Which in turn made me laugh really loud, hard and silly-like.

I am glad I stopped what I was doing and PLAYED WITH them. It seems I am often working/doing while they are playing around me, and I want there to be more of me actually playing WITH them doing whatever they are doing.

Once they were dirty enough, I let them run around naked in the back yard while I ran after them spraying them clean with the hose. It was hilarious and we all three loved it.

We had some really good moments together today. I am always grateful for those.
