Life's Simple Rich's

Angus in the morning.
Here are some little and simple things that have helped make my/our lives rich this week;

  • Listening to the boys giggle uncontrollably while fiddling with the volume control on Bryan's alarm clock radio.
  • Getting two free, fully cooked and seasoned whole chickens dropped of to us by my Mom.
  • A fresh haircut. I am talking about me here folks. I know your curiousity peaked thinking I was referring to Bryan and his dreads.
  • Beautiful green eggs. No connection to St. Patty's day, that is just how that chicken makes 'em.  (I actually forgot about that holiday this year)
  • Getting a bunch of miscellaneous Thomas The Train track pieces to add to our small collection, for FREE. The boys were in choo choo heaven all morning. (Remind me to write about the awesome "Dust Collectors" party that made it possible. You will want to throw one too.)
  • Deliciously moist, chewy and flavorful homemade ginger molasses cookies. They are best a day or two after baking. No doubt about it.
  • Moving our computer out into the living room. For the past 4 years it has been shoved into a tiny corner of our bedroom. So what if it is still sitting on a table clothed card table! Having it out in the main living area makes it possible to work on the computer and still feel apart of the family. No more outcast computer geek in the corner.
What simple riches filled your week? I hope there were lots.
