Snowy Day.

Here is what happened on our super fun, super snowy day:

Dad shoveled snow for 1 and 1/2 hours. Boys watched dad out window. Dad helped push a neighbors stuck car out of snow. Dad scraped seven inches of snow off of his car. Yep, he actually drove instead of biked today. Surprising, I know.

Boys and I bundled up and headed outside. We played on hills of snow, and even on "bug" mountain (Super '73 beetle was near completely covered in snow, making it perfect to climb). We chased each other in the snow, and threw snowballs at each other. Then we constructed our sno-fro-man. He became an instant friend. Before his completion Angus wanted to go inside. So inside he went, and back outside we went. Don't worry I could see him, and he could see us through our large front window. We continued working on our Mr. sno-fro.

We heard tires spinning next door, so we went to take a peek. Sure enough, Ray's little BMW convertible was high centered on the snow. So, a fellow neighbor and I helped push him back into his garage. I smacked my chin on the cars trunk in the process. Ouch. While standing in the neighbors yard, I could literally hear Angus screaming from inside our house. So we rushed back so he could see us, and all was well.

As Oscar and I were putting the finishing facial features on our sno-fro-man, Nana and Papa drove up for a surprise visit. Hooray, we love those! Hugs all around, then we waved goodbye and headed in for some hot cocoa. What a great morning.

What a fun snow day - minus the chin injury, of course.

Also, you are the most photogenic self-picture-taker I've ever seen. Seriously!
