Mist on the river.
As I was running across the Ann Morrison Park bridge early this morning, the sun had just risen above the mountains and the river was cloaked in a heavy mist. I was compelled to stop and watch as the sun's rays reached across the river, illuminating the morning mist. It was almost as if the sun lit the mist on fire, creating a trail of flames atop the cold and flowing river. I then continued on my run, overcome with gratitude that I was able to witness such a moment.

You are awesome for even being able to get yourself up early enough to see that, let alone to see it while running! I am going to start running again tomorrow, and I will let you know when I am up for longer distances so we can try and run together again.
