Hello!

These past couple of weeks have been so terrific and exhausting. There are so many crazy emotions involved with having a newborn! But most of them are wonderful, glossy, happy ones. We are tired, but we are still so grateful for this sweet baby boy in our family. Oscar and Angus love to touch him, especially his peach fuzzy head. Angus usually just "pets" his head or hand with one outstretched finger. Oscar is always asking to see him, and they both get so happy to look at him when he actually has his eyes open. For two boys who don't really like babies much, they sure like this one of ours...thank heavens. Ulysses really is a precious little guy. At his two week appointment he was 10 lbs. (he gained over a pound!), grew a half an inch in length, and grew 3/4 an inch in head circumference. He loves to eat, and poop, and sleep and sometimes he tries to do all three at once. We are trying to soak up each minute of this sweet and tiring (wait did I already say I was tired?) newborn stage. It really is such a special time.
