A Day Outside.

It felt so good to spend almost all day outside.  It is funny how 55 degrees plus sunshine in March can feel SO warm after the cold winter. Here are some things we did outside today:

Looked for bugs, and found them.
Built a fort on the front porch.
Ate lunch in the front yard.
Did a puzzle together on the front sidewalk.
Cleaned up 8 piles of sun-warmed and extra stinky dog poo.
Fought each other like "Transformers."
Let the chickens out in the yard, and played/terrorized them.
Drew, and played, hopscotch with chalk. (But of course Oscar calls it "hop crotch" which sounds so much cooler.)
Drove the "beat up" match-box cars on the back patio and down the makeshift wood ramp.
Got a bit sun "pinked," which feels fantastic.
The boys got chased by a monster (me) while we played at the park.
Then before dinner, they were outside playing with cars again.

Gosh we love good weather.

Oh and one more random vocabulary word from Oscar. A butt-crack is actually called a "butt-crotch." Makes me laugh every time he points one out.
