Coins and a Song

Coins

Today we went swimming at the downtown YMCA. It took me forever to find a parking spot. Finally out of frustration I parked at a metered spot a block away. However once we were out of the car I realized that I only had enough change to get me 44 minutes, I knew full well that we would be inside for at least 2 hours. We locked the car, and headed to the Y. Hoping all the while that the meter maid would overlook our lack of coins. And that she did! When we returned to our car there was no ticket! Yeehaw for luck.

Song

I taught the boys the Batman version of Jingle Bells last night at dinner. You know the one that goes more or less like;
Jingle bells, Batman smells.
Robin laid an egg.
Bat mobile lost a wheel,
and Joker got away.
It is quickly becoming a family favorite, and both boys can nearly sing it all by themselves. What can I say? We sure to teach classy stuff here at the Rich household ;).
