The Good:
Listening to Oscar panting squeals of joy and laughter, as he played chase through the Rose Garden.
Finding that Mama Red had laid her first egg in her new home. A beautifully massive egg, in a shade of light olive green.
Breathing the crisp Autumn air, and sunshine on my skin.
Getting kisses from my Sideshow.
My new bedding set.
The not-quite-as good:
Getting peed on twice in two hours, by a half-asleep 3 year old who forgot how to aim.
Being so unimpressed by a batch of cookies, that pretty much all the dough is now sitting the kitchen trash.
Trying to let my 8 month old, cry it out. (Wow, that sucks.)
